Bitarel-Aero Bitumen Polymer Joint Tape
TS BY 690590146.019-2016
Purpose: BITAREL-AERO joint tape is designed for sealing of joints and interfaces during construction of asphalt concrete pavements on roads, bridges and air fields (including for patching repairs with cast mixtures).
How to use: before applying the tape, the surface must be cleared of any dust, dirt, debris and oils. Use compressed air if the surface had any water or ice on it. Before laying out the hot asphalt mix, unwind the roll of tape along the work surface, remove the protective antiadhesive film (paper), apply the adhesive side of the tape to the surface on the required level and press down firmly, remove excess tape if necessary. Adjacent strips of tape must be placed edge-to-edge. To ensure that the tape sticks, use bitumen primer before applying the tape. If the tape is applied at a temperature under +10°С, drums (boxes) of tape must be kept in a room at +10°С to +25°С for at least 3 hours.
Dimensions: 40х5, 50х5, 40х10, 50х10. Other sizes can be produced upon request.
Packaging: supplied in rolls up to 10 m long, packed in cardboard drums or boxes.
